The Sarasota Bayrunner Trolley is Free and Easy
We are excited to now have an open-air trolley service that loops through Lido Key, St. Armand's Circle, and Sarasota's downtown.
Trolleys are one of our guests' favorite ways to see the area. You truly do not need a car to get around. Whether you want to hop a ride to nearby Ted Sperling Park, stock up at Whole Foods downtown, or explore the FANTASTIC dining and shopping in Sarasota or St. Armand's Circle, Sarasota Bayrunner makes getting there half the fun.
The nearest trolley stop to our property is at the Lido Beach Pavilion. Simply walk down Cleveland Drive towards the Gulf and turn right towards the public beach. You will find the trolley stop sign near the public pool.
Trolley rides are free.
Trolleys pass by every 20-30 minutes in each direction.
Regular operation is 7 days per week, 8am-12am.
We highly recommend downloading the app, as you can see the trolleys' locations in real time.

The ON DEMAND Ride Service is a GREAT VALUE
Need more of a direct route and a personalized ride service, without having to spend too much on a ride share service?
On Demand is for you. On Demand is a van service sponsored by Sarasota's transit system. From Lido Key, you can travel to anywhere on Longboat Key, St. Armand's Circle, Bird Key, and downtown Sarasota.
The best part is that rides are only $1.25 per ride. Yes, it is true! It's far cheaper than the parking fees downtown.
On Demand's operating hours are
5am to 10pm Monday - Saturday
6am to 9pm Sunday
